Being in business 13 years as an official corporation and Indiana dealer, Buxton Motorsports, Inc. - Mallett Corvette & Panoz of Evansville is still relatively new to the automobile industry.  But company President Brian Buxton has held a love and passion for automobiles for many years, and has over 16 years of active experience in the automobile industry.

It's nice to be able to pay the bills, but our first business priority is fairness, and our primary goal is to build lifelong relationships with our clients.  Our reputation means more to us than any amount of money made on a deal.  Our pleasure is derived from providing true car enthusiasts with the highest quality automobiles from the world's leading manufacturers, and having those clients come back a second, third and fourth time for another vehicle.

Our specialty is specialty cars, and we purposely limit ourselves to selling what we know and love.  In addition to being a franchised Mallett Corvette & Panoz dealership, we specialize in the purchase, sales and locating of new and used exotic, distinctive and collectible special interest vehicles.  You don't need us to help you buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee and you most likely won't see very many Lexus in our inventory but you will find the best examples of offerings from Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Caterham 7, Corvette, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Lotus, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Maserati and many other storied automobile manufacturers from around the world.  But don’t just assume that we only deal in the most expensive brands and models.  Recently we have begun to inventory more affordable vehicles and SUV’s ($15,000 and less) such as Acura, BMW, Honda, Land Rover, Toyota and VW.  We will assist you in finding any vehicle that best suits your lifestyle and needs.

As of Monday, January 3, 2005, Buxton Motorsports, Inc. has no longer been open to the general public. Due to the nature of our business, we found that it was more beneficial and productive to our current and for our future clients for us to become more unique and exclusive by operating from an appointment only or referral basis.  We have reviewed the past 12 years of sales records and have found that over 95% of our local sales have come from previous clients, referrals from previous clients, or from the internet. Since our move to the new location, our random floor traffic has overwhelmingly consisted of individuals who have neither the interest or the financial ability to purchase the products we offer for sale.  This takes time away from and reduces our ability to best serve those who have helped us grow into the business that we are today.

Since our first day in business we have worked to set ourselves apart from the "usual" automobile dealer, and we feel that through our new business practices we will more effectively continue this tradition, as well as increase our ability to personally cater to the automotive needs of national and Evansville area auto enthusiasts.  Rest assured that this change will not affect any of our local services such as local auto consignment & in-house detailing.  To the contrary, we feel that it will allow us to better market our products to a core group of local auto enthusiasts and qualified buyers.
