We understand that while it may be second nature to us, buying a car sight unseen can be a very unnerving and disconcerting process for someone who purchases a vehicle once every one, two or three years. I want to thank you for finding the Ferrari 550 Maranello for me. The color combination, mileage, condition and price was well beyond my expectations. I thought I was going to have to settle for a car with much more miles and/or poor colors to meet my budget.

I remember when I first approached you after selling my 1994 Porsche Speedster and saying my next car would be a Ferrari. I had 6 Porsches over the past 30 years and was looking for something more exotic. At the time I liked the look of the Ferrari 456GT, but had not driven one or knew much about them. After doing a little investigation, I decided that I liked the performance of the Ferrari Maranello better, but it was a lot more expensive. I went back and forth for months and you kept in touch waiting for me to make up my mind. I finally drove the 456GT and decided it did not meet my performance needs. Then I started thinking about a Turbo Porsche as the Maranello was above my budget. Instead of telling me what to do, you gave me the time to make my own mind up. This was invaluable to me as really needed to decide for myself. I think you already knew that the Ferrari was what I really wanted.

When the specific car came up at the price you were able to negotiate, I had also made up my mind that the Maranello was the car I wanted. Timing and your patience worked out for both of us. I saw pictures of the car months before, but wrote it off as too expensive. I remember saying to myself that if money was not an issue, this would be the ideal color combination along with great options; carbon fiber package and 3-piece factory wheels. Then you come up with the car at the right price. Fantastic.

Chaad Thomas, 1988 Porsche 928S4

This season, apart from a radiator replacement, it has just been cosmetic stuff; new wheels, fender plaques, clear turn signal lenses ... little stuff like that. Oh, and I replaced the Eclipse CD player with a Nakamichi unit because the CD stopped working. I've also replaced most of the interior lights with red LED's, and will probably do the gauge lighting before it goes up for storage again this winter.
